New Year Countdown on Your TV

Count down to midnight with a big digital-watch style neon timer on the TV, then switch to Happy New Year with flashing marquee bulbs.

Set the countdown

  1. Open the countdown sign and look at the Timer line in the editor.
  2. Enter the time left to midnight, for example 1 hour 25 minutes. The timer starts as soon as you press a number field.
  3. Press Show on screen. The timer keeps counting even if you go full screen or reload the page, and blinks at zero.

Tip: set the timer a few minutes before you need it, then show it. When it reaches zero, switch to the Happy New Year sign from your phone if you connected the TV with a code.

Show it on your TV

  1. Tap a sign above. It opens in the free Neonyes editor.
  2. Change the words, colors, icon and animation if you like.
  3. On the same screen, press Show on screen. Or, to use your phone as the remote: on the TV open neonyes.com, press TV mode, and type the code it shows into your phone under Enter TV code. Every change on your phone then appears on the TV.
